Free Knitting Pattern: Nevada Kimono Cardigan

Nevada knit kimono cardigan in garter stitch - free knitting pattern by Kyla Zoran

Nevada is a soft and drapey envelope cardigan designed for easy, transitional layering from spring into summer. Worked as a single piece, a generous rectangle in simple garter stitch, it folds into a cocoon-like shape that slips effortlessly over the shoulders. Using two yarns held together makes it quick to knit and creates an interesting texture. This project is simple and satisfying to make, ideal as a travel project thanks to its portability and the fact that it requires no complex counting or intricate pattern-following.
