Earlier this year, my Whelk crochet cardigan pattern was published in Noro Magazine’s Spring/Summer 2025 issue and is also featured on Knitting Fever’s Ravelry page.
This design began as an exploration of texture and fluid drape, inspired by the soft spirals of a seashell. Worked in Noro’s signature yarns, the cardigan combines lightness with structure, making it an ideal layer for summer weather.
Seeing Whelk in print was a gratifying moment — the culmination of careful design decisions, hours of making, and refining the pattern so it’s both enjoyable to crochet and satisfying to wear. I’m thankful to the Noro editorial team for selecting it for this season’s collection, and I’m pleased to now share it with a wider audience through Ravelry.
